Removing the gear knob on the Peugeot 206 is a simple task that can be done independently. To remove the gear knob, lift the gaiter as if you want to remove it and raise the gear lever as high as possible.

Once these two steps are completed, gently rotate the knob to the right while holding the bracket steady and then pull it upwards. Be careful not to damage the gear lever during this removal process.

Also, take care not to damage the clips of the gaiter when removing it.
