Removing the gear knob of the Peugeot 206 is a very simple operation to perform independently. To remove the gear knob, you need to lift the gear lever boot as if you were going to remove it and raise the gear lever as much as possible. Once these two steps are done, you can gently rotate the knob to the right and, holding the bracket still, remove it by pulling upwards. Be careful not to damage the gear lever during this knob removal procedure. Also, be careful not to damage the hooks of the gear lever boot when removing it.
