In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the onboard computer, known as SMEG, in the Peugeot 308, which is necessary if you intend to install a new module capable of receiving DAB signals. Start by unclipping the central plastic panel where some of the various controls are located, then disconnect the connector and unscrew the two fixing screws of the CD player using a Torx T20 spanner. Next, disconnect the blue connector, remove the lower module, and proceed with the replacement by following the reverse procedure. Remember to reconnect the CD player to the new module.
