How to Replace the Battery on a Peugeot 2008

To change the battery on a Peugeot 2008, open the bonnet and locate the battery. Disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Remove the control unit from its housing by tilting it to one side so it does not obstruct the rest of the work. Lift the battery base locking system and remove it. Move the second tab and take out the battery. Now, scrape the corrosion from the terminals using fine sandpaper. Insert the new battery by tilting it to the left and then pushing it down. Apply copper grease to the terminals to improve contact with the cables. Refit the battery locking system. Reposition the control unit. Reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal. Job done.
