The BSI, acronym for Body Computer System, is an electronic control unit present in many Peugeot vehicles, whose task is to manage and coordinate the electrical and electronic functions of the car, controlling the engine start, headlight function, central locking, air conditioning, and much more. Its malfunction can cause a series of problems, including the engine not starting. In Peugeot 2008 vehicles, the control unit is located behind the fuse box on the driver's side. Installing a new control unit is a fairly simple operation; what we need to do is remove the glove compartment on the driver's side and install the control unit, connecting the connectors and screwing in the locking screws. After connecting the connectors and various cables, we reassemble the glove compartment.
