Next, get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake. The air filter in this vehicle is located in the engine compartment, so lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Remove the clamps securing the breather hose of the air filter and the intake hose, using Clic-R clamp pliers; now slide the clips of the filter cover and remove the cover of the filter box. To prevent dust from entering the system, cover the throttle body with a cloth. Remove the old filter element and clean the housing and cover; now insert the new filter element; remove the cloth covering the throttle body and refit the filter cover, then secure it.
