This guide shows how to replace the shock absorbers on your car simply and practically, so even a beginner can manage it. Shock absorbers are usually replaced after 43,000 to 50,000 miles. To begin, lift the car with a jack and remove the wheel.

Unscrew the bolts, ensuring they are not lost as they will be needed later to fit the new shock absorbers. Once the shock absorber is free, compress it and remove it from its housing.

At this point, you can proceed to insert the new shock absorbers.
