Peugeot 106 - Video tutorial
Model: Peugeot 106
MK 1
- Years 1991-2004 All cars are already equipped with an anti-roll bar, a mechanical organ that connects the hub carriers of the independent wheel suspension type of the same axle, in order to oppose the roll, the phenomenon that occurs in rapid changes of direction; in these conditions the load is transferred to the outside of the vehicle which tends to lean on the outside of the curve (roll) due to the effect of the centrifugal force. To improve road holding and reduce body roll, stiffer springs and shock absorbers could be installed at the expense of driving comfort; an excellent solution is to install an additional stabilizer bar, that is, which connects the struts of the shock absorbers; installation is extremely simple, in fact it involves unscrewing the fixing nuts of the shock absorber supports, inserting the bar flanges and screwing them back on.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
