The link is the connecting element between the shock absorber and the stabiliser bar: it is constantly subjected to numerous stresses, making the failure of the respective joints and the resulting noise quite plausible; the replacement is extremely simple, involving unscrewing the nuts securing the ball joint pin, extracting the link from its seat, and inserting the new one while tightening the nuts adequately: first, screw the nut on manually, insert the hex key to lock the ball joint pin, and then tighten the nut.
