Replacement of Remote Key Cover

The failure of the buttons on the remote key cover is a common fault on many car models: in this regard, it is easy to find a new complete cover online, including a blank key to be cut, but you can also simply replace just the shell with the buttons or transfer the key blade to the new shell; start by opening the original key shells by prying at the designated rear slot, extract the electronic circuit and the transponder; detach the key blade from the original shell and remove the pin to eliminate the plastic reinforcement; then remove the blank blade from the new shells by unscrewing the relevant fastening screw, insert the transponder and electronic circuit, close the new covers, and heat the end of the original key to insert it into the new shell.
