Repairing the Multifunction Display

The following video shows how to repair the multifunction display (MFD) of a Peugeot 406. It has malfunctioning lines on the screen. First, remove the entire radio unit: use a TX20 Torx screwdriver to unscrew the two screws behind the unit.

Release the clips of the screen cover. Also free the two side clips and remove the casing.

Lift and extract the remote sensor. Release the two side tabs and lift the screen.

Remove the light diffuser located behind the LCD screen and the circuit board. Carefully detach each part from the plastic support.

The LCD screen appears damaged at the edge. Use a heat gun on the display and press the tape with a pencil.

Reassemble the unit as before.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
