In the following video the multifunctional display (MFD) of a Peugeot 406 is repaired. In fact, it has malfunction lines on the screen. First remove the entire radio block: with a TX20 torx screwdriver unscrew the two screws behind the block. Unclip the display cover clips. Also release the two side clips and remove the casing. Lift and remove the remote sensor. Release the two side tabs and lift up the screen. Remove the light diffuser located behind the LCD screen and circuit board. Carefully release each part from the plastic holder. The LCD screen appears damaged on the edge. Use a heat gun on the display and with a pencil press on the tape. Reassemble the unit as before.
