In this video, we will see how to remove the radio and touch screen from the dashboard of a Peugeot 308 without scratching the bodywork. Let's start with the central console by removing the part around the gear lever. We will need to disconnect some electrical connectors. Now, remove the two screws holding a part of the console in place.

Next, we need to remove the lower part of the steering wheel cover. Remove the screws located under the steering wheel so that the cover can be removed from both the top and bottom.

Now, insert the radio removal keys into the appropriate slots and press. This will detach the front panel, and then we just need to remove the cable. Now, we have access to the multimedia unit.

Remove the two screws and disconnect the cables behind it (it's a good idea to take a photo to ensure everything is put back in the right place). Now, use the plastic spatula to remove the side vents.

The screen is attached to the frame with two screws that need to be removed. Once those are taken out, the screen can be detached, but be careful of the electrical cables behind it.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
