In this video tutorial, we can see the procedure for replacing the engine oil in a Peugeot 5008, following some simple steps. The first thing to do is to get into the car, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake. Lift the car using a hydraulic jack and place safety stands; now we are going to remove the under-engine tray. Place a container for collecting the used oil under the oil drain plug. Unscrew the drain plug using a 10mm hex key. While we wait for all the oil to drain, unscrew the oil filter using a 27mm hex key with an extension; to access the filter, you need to remove the two air tubes to have access to the oil filter; once the oil filter is removed, we are going to replace the old filter with the new one and also change the gasket, wetting it with new oil. Screw the oil drain plug and the new oil filter. Refill the new engine oil (0W-30) and the additive as shown in the video (keep checking the oil level with a dipstick).
