How ECO Mode Works on a Peugeot Vehicle

In this video, see how ECO mode operates on Peugeot vehicles, helping to save battery if the headlights are left on or the door is open, or if the interior lights are on. Start the vehicle, and the display indicates that ECO mode is active. To see how it works, turn on the headlights; they flash a couple of times but do not illuminate because the vehicle is in economy mode. However, if you start the engine, the headlights turn on immediately, and the ECO mode message disappears. If you now turn off the engine, ECO mode does not reappear, as you have charged the battery by starting the engine, and if you decide to turn on the headlights, they will illuminate. Therefore, there is no way to deactivate ECO mode: simply restart the engine for a few moments, and everything will function properly.
