This guide outlines the steps to replace the oil in the EAT6 automatic transmission, which also applies to the EAT8, of the Peugeot 508; the manufacturer states that no maintenance is required for the entire lifespan of the EAT6 automatic transmission.

First, raise the vehicle and remove the oil drain bolt using a 17 mm hex key; allow the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Finally, remove the filler cap to add the correct amount of the appropriate oil!
