How to reset the service light on a Peugeot 208?

To reset the service light on a Peugeot 208, start with the key in the OFF position, meaning both the instrument cluster and engine are off. Locate a small button in the centre of the dashboard, near the speedometer. Press and hold this button until the procedure is complete. While continuing to hold this button, turn the key to switch on the instrument cluster: a countdown will appear on the display. Wait for this to finish, until it reaches zero, then release the button and finally switch off the ignition.
