How to Replace Front Brake Pads and Discs on a Peugeot 5008

In this video, you can see how to replace the brake pads and discs on a Peugeot 5008: after removing the front wheels and opening the brake fluid cap, remove the retaining clip from the brake caliper; also remove the rubber caps at the back of the caliper, where you will find Allen screws. Unscrewing these components will release the entire caliper containing the pads, but first, you need to remove the tensioned hook. Remove the pistons from the caliper and take off the caliper, being careful with the brake hose. Remove the pads and also the fixed part of the brake caliper, as you need to change the discs as well. Clean the hub and then spread anti-friction paste before inserting the new disc. Then, reassemble the fixed part of the caliper, again using grease, but be careful not to leave any grease on the disc. Refit the caliper, lubricating the moving points, with the new pads, and the job is complete.
