Resetting the service light in the Peugeot 407, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure that all required scheduled maintenance work has been completed.

Start by going inside the cabin, then insert the key but leave it in the initial position. Next, press and hold the right button on the dashboard, turn on the instrument cluster simultaneously, and keep the button pressed for the entire duration of the countdown displayed.

To complete the procedure, simply restart the instrument cluster.
