Resetting the Service Light on the Peugeot 206

After replacing the engine oil of the Peugeot 206, you must reset the system that alerts you to this important maintenance operation with the appearance of a spanner icon on the display. Sit in the driver's seat. Press and hold the button located at the bottom, between the speedometer and the coolant temperature gauge. Turn the ignition key to position 1, and you will see a countdown of 10 seconds on the small display at the top centre of the instrument panel. When it reaches zero, release the button and turn the key: the absence of the spanner icon on the display will confirm the reset.
