Removing the radio from the Porsche 911 model 996 is a very simple operation that will only take a few minutes of your time, as this operation has only a few steps. The first step is to remove the dashboard part around the radio, using plastic tools. The second step is to disconnect the connectors on the right and then left sides of the radio itself. The third step is to unscrew the four screws that secure the radio and then remove it from its housing. Once the radio is removed, disconnect the last connector and you're done.
