Application of Checkered Adhesive Strips

Model: Porsche Cayman 987 - Years 2006-2012

Thoroughly clean the bodywork area where you will stick the strips.
Position the strip, securing it with masking tape at several points.
Remove part of the backing from under the strip and stick it down after wetting it with soapy water (this allows you to adjust the adhesive's position before permanently sticking it) and eliminate any air bubbles with a plastic spatula, ensuring the adhesive adheres correctly; remove the other part of the backing from under the adhesive strip, spray the soapy water, and stick it down using the spatula.
At this point, remove the protective film, ensuring that the checkered pattern remains perfectly adhered to the bodywork, and cut along the door seams, ensuring the adhesive sticks well at the edges.
Proceed in the same manner to apply the other stickers.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
