Removing the Front Door Panel

Model: Porsche 911 996 - Years 1997-2005
Part: Door trim panel

Using a small flathead screwdriver, pry off the chrome badge on the side airbag container; similarly, disconnect the courtesy light and the internal handle cover. Then, unscrew all the screws securing the panel, disconnect the internal mirror cover, and using a plastic trim tool, release the pressure clips securing the panel. At this point, pull the panel upward to detach it from the weatherstrip, move it away from the door, and disconnect the internal release cable and speaker. If necessary, peel back the soundproofing panel to access the window regulator system. Reverse the steps for reassembly.
