Replacing the air filter on a Porsche Boxster? Let's see how to remove the air filter from inside the engine compartment. Lift the hood, disconnect the plastic covers of the filter panel, then remove the air box assembly. Once the air box is removed, take out the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (making sure it fits snugly against the walls of the container). Place the air box back in and secure the plastic fasteners. Close the hood after the replacement. Use an air filter identical to the one removed.
