How to Replace the Air Filter in a Porsche Boxster

Before you can start, open the rear hatch and the convertible top cover of your Porsche Boxster. Begin by unclipping and removing the upper cover of the engine hood by simply unclipping it. Next, you will need to unclip and remove the engine cover itself. Once that is done, unclip the clips that secure the air filter cover, and then remove it. This will give you access to the air filter. At this point, unclip and remove the air filter, and you will have completed the disassembly. To install the new air filter, follow this procedure in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
