Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Porsche Boxster 986, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

Replacing this filter is very simple and should be done frequently to keep the engine efficient. Open the hood and remove the engine cover by releasing the appropriate clips. Locate the filter housing on the left side of the engine. Unclip the cover using the side springs and pull it outward with your hands. Remove the old filter from the housing and insert a new filter. Before inserting the new filter, clean the interior of any dust deposits. Carefully close the air box, ensuring it fits perfectly with the cover. Start the engine and check for proper operation.
