How to Disable ECO Mode in RAM 1500

Detailed instructions - To disable ECO mode on a RAM 1500, start the vehicle and check the instrument cluster. On models equipped with MDS or automatic ECO function, the mode activates based on driving conditions and there is no dedicated button to permanently disable it. To limit its activation, you can select the "Tow/Haul" driving mode using the button on the dashboard or near the gear lever: this mode changes the engine response and reduces ECO intervention. Alternatively, use the manual mode of the transmission if available. Check the display to ensure that the ECO indication is no longer active while driving.
