How to Customize the Headlights of a RAM 1500

Model: RAM 1500 DS, MK 4, DJ - Years 2009-2019

In this video, you will see how to customize the color of the headlights on a RAM 1500. To start, open the hood; on both sides, you will find screws that you need to remove as shown in the video between minute 1:25 and minute 1:30. Now, you need to pull out the grille by detaching the side clips (as shown at minute 1:45) and the center clip, shown at minute 2:00, that holds the grille in place. Once the grille is removed, you will need to unscrew the screws that hold the headlights in position, as shown between 2:30 and 2:40; once removed, you can pull out the headlights. Once you have the headlight, you need to open it by removing the adhesive that holds the pieces together. At this point, you can paint the inside as desired, which will give your headlights a different and original look. Make sure that your customization does not interfere with the functionality of the lighting system, reassemble everything, and your customization will be complete.
