How to Reset the Oil Light on the Dodge RAM 2500

If you have just changed the oil in your 2015 Dodge RAM and the warning light continues to illuminate, you must perform a manual reset to eliminate it permanently. Make sure the vehicle is off, then insert the key. Turn it to the first position and turn on the ignition. Next, use the directional arrow buttons located on the left side of the steering wheel and scroll down until you highlight the icon depicting a vehicle. At this point, turn the key to the second position and confirm the reset when prompted. Finally, turn off the ignition.
