The guide shows you how to replace the front brakes on the Dodge Ram 1500 Mk4. The first step is to unscrew the wheel fixing bolts, lift the vehicle safely and remove the rim. With a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the two brake caliper fixing bolts and loosen the piston using a lever. Hang the brake caliper in such a way as not to damage the hydraulic pipe. Extract the two brake pads and remove the caliper holder. Remove the disk fixing washer and extract it; help yourself by hitting between the fixing bolts with a hammer. Clean the hub brake housing, the caliper support and the new brake disc. Install in position the brake disc, the caliper support and the pads greased with the specific lubricant. Push the caliper pistons backwards with the help of the special tool. Install the element in position and reassemble everything. At this point the operation is finished.
