The key for the Ram 2500 features a very simple and minimalist design, which makes it easy to replace the button cell battery inside. Follow these steps: Get a flathead screwdriver and insert it into the gap between the upper and lower covers. Apply a slight upward force to separate the two parts. Now that you have access to the dead battery, simply remove it and replace it with a new compatible model. Finally, reassemble the cover correctly.
