How to Replace the Spark Plugs on a Renault Captur?

To replace the spark plugs on a Renault Captur, start by turning off the engine and ensuring it is completely cool. Open the bonnet and locate the engine cover, which you will need to remove to access the spark plugs.

Once the cover is removed, identify the ignition coils connected to the spark plugs. Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors from the coils, then unscrew the coils using a ratchet with the appropriate socket.

After removing the coils, use a spark plug socket to unscrew the old spark plugs. Before inserting the new spark plugs, ensure they are the correct type and that the gap between the electrodes is correct.

Screw in the new spark plugs by hand to avoid damaging the threads, then tighten with the spark plug socket. Refit the coils, reconnect the electrical connectors, and finally reposition the engine cover.

Start the engine to ensure everything is working correctly.
