How to Reset the Maintenance Message on a Renault Kadjar

If the maintenance warning light illuminates on the instrument cluster display when you turn on the ignition, it means it's time to change the oil, either due to mileage (usually 18,640 miles) or time (24 months). After performing the regular maintenance by replacing the engine oil and the corresponding filter, you need to reset the warning light on the instrument cluster. This is a manual operation done using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine, use the indicators to scroll through the menu until you see SERVICE INTERVAL, press and hold the OK button to display the remaining maintenance interval, and press OK again to perform the reset.
