How to Activate and Deactivate the ECO Mode on the Renault Clio 4

Today, you will learn how to enable and disable the ECO mode on the Renault Clio. The ECO MODE function limits engine and gearbox performance to improve fuel economy. This means that when you press the accelerator pedal, the vehicle will not perform at its maximum capacity.

On fourth generation vehicles, the button to enable the ECO function is located on the lower central dashboard, just below the handbrake, next to the passenger side. Pressing the button on the instrument panel will illuminate the indicator light, showing that the function is active.

To disable the function, simply press the button again.
