How to Change the Battery in a Renault Scenic Xmod

Model: Renault Scenic MK 2, Scenic 2 - Years 2003-2009

Open the front bonnet of the engine compartment. Locate the battery position; it is slightly to the right, in the centre of the engine bay, protected by a plastic cover as shown in the images. Remove the cover and disconnect the electrical connections, then use a suitable spanner to unscrew the bolts securing it in place. At this point, you can remove the old battery and proceed to install the new one. Before installation, clean the electrode contacts. Now fit the new battery following the reverse procedure shown in the images.
