How to Replace the Battery of the Renault Scenic XMod Mk3

This guide shows how to replace the battery of the Renault Scenic Mk3. First, open the bonnet and wait a few minutes for the vehicle's onboard computer to shut down; leave the keys outside the vehicle for safety. The battery is located on the right side of the vehicle; to access it, remove the plastic cover of the battery and the control unit. Remove the negative terminal and set it aside, then remove the rear cover of the battery. Disconnect the positive terminal from the battery and the rear connector, and remove the cable. Unscrew the two retaining bolts of the battery and extract the accumulator. Install the new unit and refit all parts in position. From inside the vehicle, reset the battery change warning light using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel.
