How do you replace the starter motor in a Renault Kangoo?

If you are worried about your car, know that changing the starter motor is not complicated but it requires a bit of skill. Disconnect the battery to avoid short circuits. The starter motor is usually located near the gearbox, unscrew the bolts and disconnect the cables marking where they go. Maybe spray some lubricant if they are stuck. Remove the old starter motor, put in the new one and reconnect everything as before. Tighten the bolts well and reattach the battery. Now try to start it, if it starts well you have done a great job. Otherwise, check the connections again. Or contact a trusted workshop.
