How to change the battery of a Renault Megane key?

To change the battery of a Renault Megane key, start by extracting the emergency mechanical key. You can do this by pressing the small release button on the side of the key. Once extracted, you will notice a small groove along the edge of the remote. Carefully insert a thin object, such as a small screwdriver, into the groove and lever to open the key shell in two halves. Locate the battery inside, taking note of the exact position and polarity to avoid mistakes. Remove the old battery and insert the new one, making sure it is positioned correctly. Finally, close the key by joining the two halves of the shell and make sure it is securely closed.
