Dismantling and Replacing Engine Spark Plugs

Model: Renault Scenic MK 2, Scenic 2 - Years 2003-2009

Open the front bonnet and ensure it is securely supported. It is advisable to perform this operation with a cold engine.
Remove the plastic engine cover: at the back, just below the windscreen, you will find the 4 spark plugs.
Unclip the connector attached to the lead by pressing the securing latch; unscrew the fixing screw of the lead and pull it out of its housing.
Using the appropriate socket, unscrew and remove the old spark plug; fit the new spark plug into the socket, screw it in manually into its housing and finally tighten it without overdoing it.
Reposition the lead by screwing in the fixing pin and reconnect the connector.
Proceed in the same manner for the other spark plugs.
