How to change the diesel filter on the Renault Trafic II

In this video, we see how to change the diesel filter on the Renault Trafic II: inside on the left, we find it, and to remove it, we disconnect the electrical connector, detach both tubes, and at this point we can lift the filter, removing it from its housing, placing it in a container for liquid recovery. We unscrew the cap, remove the cover and detach the filter cartridge from the flange, levering with a flat screwdriver. We remove the o-ring and clean the flange with brake cleaner and absorbent paper, then we place the new filter, put the new o-ring in place, which we will lubricate well before positioning it. We put the cap back in place and then position the filter back into the engine compartment, reconnecting the electrical connector and tubes, and it's done.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
