How to Replace the Diesel Filter on the Renault Trafic

To replace the diesel filter on the Renault Trafic, open the bonnet, locate the diesel filter behind the headlamp on the passenger side (behind the seal); to replace the diesel filter, undo the screw on top of the filter housing cap, set the cap aside carefully to avoid spilling diesel, remove the diesel filter trying to place it in a container to prevent spilling on the engine; once the old filter is removed, also take out the old seal, take the new diesel filter, dip it in diesel in the container, replace the cap, install the new seal, screw the cap back on, pump the side pump a few times to fill the diesel container until the ball of the pump becomes firm, and the operation is complete.
