How to change the diesel filter on a Renault Twingo II

Let's see how to change the diesel filter on a Renault Twingo II: we can find the new filter for example on Auto-doc. It with the code F 026 402 081 at the price of 26.67 euros + 9.95 euros for shipping. The diesel filter is located in the upper left part of the engine compartment: with a flat screwdriver we press the colored part of the connector of each tube, and then unhook it. Loosen the filter fixing screw with a 10 socket wrench and remove the old filter; insert the water sensor into the new filter, aligning the pins and rotate it clockwise to lock it, then tighten the fixing screw; reposition the diesel inlet/outlet tubes and then bleed the air through the pump located near the filter, until it becomes firm; loosen the bleed screw to release the air; when diesel starts to come out, we can screw it back in. Start the car leaving it idling for a couple of minutes, in order to check for leaks. The old filter must be taken to an authorized collection center for disposal.
