How to replace the battery of the Renault Clio 2

Replacing the battery of the Renault Clio 2 is a simple and quick operation to be carried out independently. To replace the battery, we need to open the front hood and unscrew the nut securing the negative terminal with a 10 mm wrench. After unscrewing the nut, make sure the cable is well disconnected to avoid it reconnecting to the battery, damaging the car's electrical circuit. We provide you with an adjustable wrench with an 8 mm insert to unlock the positive terminal, after removing the terminal we remove the fixing plate using a wrench with a 13 mm extension. Finally, we remove the battery from its seat. Insert the new battery into the seat and connect the positive terminal after securing it, connect the negative terminal and finally secure the battery with the nut placed on the bracket.
