How to use the tire inflation kit of the Renault Twingo

Model: Renault Twingo Twingo 3, Twingo III - Years 2014-2024
Part: Checks and maintenance

The inflation kit of the Renault Twingo is useful in emergency situations to repair a damaged tire. To use the kit, you must pull over the vehicle to the side of the road and leave the engine running, turn on the hazard lights, and engage the parking brake. The kit is located under the passenger side footrest; to access it, you need to remove the two screws. Connect the compressor hose to the canister and screw the canister onto the compressor; connect the inflation end of the canister to the tire valve and plug the electric cable into the cigarette lighter socket. Referring to the inflation values indicated on the driver's door, start the compressor. This repair is only temporary and allows you to drive at a maximum speed of 80 km/h and cover a distance of no more than 200 km. It is essential to have the tire repaired or replaced by a qualified service as soon as possible.

How to Open the Bonnet of the Ford Transit Custom

On many Ford vehicles, opening the bonnet is not done using the traditional lever located in the cabin, at the bottom left on the driver's side. Instead, you must use the ignition key to unlock a lock positioned at the front of the vehicle, usually beneath the manufacturer's badge. The reason for this choice is unclear, but it can pose a difficulty if the lock becomes jammed, risking damage to the key. You can try to disengage the lock by inserting a long screwdriver through the grille of the front panel. Once the first opening is achieved, spray some unlocking fluid on the lock to allow subsequent activation with the key.
