If our Renault Kangoo won't start, the problem might be a fuse.

If our Renault Kangoo won't start, it may simply be a blown fuse. If the starter motor makes no noise; the car does not respond electrically (the instrument panel remains off or the lights are very dim); the starter does not turn, or it turns but the engine does not start. The fuse box in the cabin is often the most relevant for starting problems: on the cover of each box, there is a diagram indicating which fuse protects which circuit. Let's look for "starter motor" or "fuel pump"; we can remove the relevant fuses and examine them to see if the internal filament is blown or just slightly blackened. We should replace it with one of the same color and amperage, taking it from our supply (it’s always a good idea to keep a spare supply in the car). If the fuse blows again after replacement, then the problem is deeper: there is a short circuit, and a mechanic is needed. The fuses to check are F30/F6 (starter motor), F3/F8 (fuel pump), and F2 (ECU power supply). All of these are in the cabin fuse box located under the dashboard. We should also check the maxi-fuse located in the engine compartment fuse box: it provides general protection for the starting circuit (F4).
