Follow these steps to reset the service light on a Renault Megane IV: First, ensure that the doors, the rear boot, and the front bonnet are closed properly, then proceed to turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to scroll through the menu until you select 'maintenance interval'. Press and hold the 'ok' button for five seconds; the maintenance symbol will be displayed on the screen along with the service message.

Press and hold the 'ok' button again for about ten seconds. Now the display will show the remaining distance until the next service.

Release the button: service reset.
