Reasons Why the Renault Master Won't Start, but the Engine Turns Over, and Displays the "Injection Fault" Message

In this video, you will see a Renault Master that turns over but does not start. It also displays the message "Injection Fault". The reasons can vary, starting with the fuel system: the fuel pump may be faulty. Pay attention if you do not hear the buzzing of the lift pump, and check the diesel pressure with a gauge (300/400 bar). Another reason could be a dirty filter, which blocks the flow of diesel, or a weak battery, which turns the engine but does not provide power to the pump or the ECU. Other issues may involve the injectors, which can be dirty or clogged: the test can only be performed by a workshop, as can checking the ECU that does not receive the synchronisation signal, or pressure loss in the common rail pipes. You can check the fuses and wiring of the fuel pump with an OBD tool: the error you might find is P0087.
