Here’s how to remove the fuel pump from a Renault Megane. Start by disconnecting the battery cables, then remove the rear seat cushions. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap using a socket wrench (after removing the metal cover); take it out from its seat. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with absorbent paper or cloth, then use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolts located on the sides. Finally, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Extract the fuel pump. To reassemble, follow the reverse order.
