How to remove the door lock (driver's side) from a Renault Clio? This video explains how to proceed. Before starting the disassembly work, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws located in the door opening lever; unscrew the screws around the perimeter of the door panel. Remove the speaker from the door panel, then use a plastic lever to detach the clips at the back of the panel. Pull the panel away with your hands and detach it from the door. Once the panel is removed: take out the lock (unscrew the fastening screws of the lock). Reassemble everything in reverse order.
