How to remove the crankshaft position sensor on a Renault Megane? Let’s look at the replacement. Lift the front bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Locate the crankshaft position sensor; use a socket spanner to undo the securing bolts (located next to the sensor). Disconnect the component from the engine housing with the electrical connector. Compare the worn part with the new one, fit the new part with the respective securing bolts, and reconnect the crankshaft position sensor. Finally, check the maintenance performed and the correct operation of the vehicle.
