Removing the Fan Resistor on Renault Megane

Is the air fan resistor on your Renault Megane damaged? Here’s how to replace it. Open the front door (passenger side) and remove the trim: use a lever to detach the plastic cover under the dashboard, then remove the glove compartment. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the fan cover (where the air fan is located). Remove the plastic cover of the fan with a screwdriver. Unscrew the fan securing screws and disconnect the connectors. Insert the new air fan and connect the power supply. Refit the fan cover and the engine soundproofing panel. Reassemble the dashboard plastics.
