Is the airbag in your Renault Clio malfunctioning? Let's look at how to remove the airbag from the steering wheel. This is a simple operation.

Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Insert a screwdriver into the holes at the bottom of the steering wheel. Once the airbag (driver's side) is released, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel.

For refitting the airbag: connect the power connectors, then press it back onto the steering wheel until it locks in place. Reconnect the steering wheel's electrical connectors.

Reconnect the battery and test the airbag.
